Gone stripey

Do you know that IKEA Pello chair? Pretty boring cover, don´t you think? Yeah, right. I had to change it, finally.

It has been quite a brain twister, but I succeeded. The fact that I only had 2m of the fabric didn´t make it any easier (I have like 20cm left...).

I did not cut the old cover apart, I just traced around it. Also I didn´t sew in zippers, I used envelope closures instead.

Happy napping!

Making two out of one.

We bought a towel and it was my turn to take care of it.

I cut off the hems and then cut it in two. Finished with binding and that´s it ;)

When skies are grey, you should paint

your planting pots!

BEFORE

AFTER

I used acrylic paint (basic colors) and mixed them to my liking. I still need to paint the remaining saucers white.

And because I wanted to decorate the kitchen, I used the colors for a canvas.
Pretty easy, but still beautiful :)
